30pm.
Ideal candidate should be someone who is a quick learner, hard worker, ability to multitask, detail oriented and requires little supervision.
Outgoing and friendly personality, excellent communication skills are also a must.
The receptionist is responsible for greeting the patients and establishing a friendly, positive encounter for each patient visit.
In addition, the receptionist is responsible for maintaining patient flow, answering phones promptly and courteously, and maintaining schedules.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet and register patients per established protocol - Ensure correct patient demographic information is collected and recorded - Answer phones promptly - Return patient messages within a timely manner - Schedule and confirm patient appointments - Maintain and manage patient records - Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorization when required - Collect and post payments to patient accounts - Ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean - Complete other duties as assigned Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - At least one-year experience in a medical front office role - Exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills - Understanding of diversified insurance plans - Understanding of patient financial responsibility including copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and collection process - Experience with EMR - Spanish Speaking preferred - Flu vaccine required Job Type:
