ACT/SAT Tutor

Must have English, Social Studies, Science, Math, or ACT/SAT/PSAT tutoring experience or be a Certified Teacher to apply.
Preferably have taught or are teaching in middle school or high school.
Flexible Schedule! You may tutor for as little as one hour a week or as many as you want.
You must be willing to align your sessions with the Carroll ISD curriculum and calendar for the course you tutor.
We are looking for tutors to lead our Small Group Classroom Sessions.
You may choose subjects you are comfortable teaching.

Responsibilities:
Engage and motivate students Assist with curriculum and lesson planning Manage small group teaching environment Track and manage individual student performance Communicate progress and results to the Director Ensure students achieve their highest possible test scores Communicate with parents regarding student progress.
REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS preferred, but we are flexible based on experience.
Previous teaching or training experience preferred Evening and weekend availability is required.
Need to be available when students are! Hours:
1 to 12 hours per week based on course type and your availability.
Hours vary from week to week, depending on whether or not there is a quiz test coming up.
We have more sessions booked around those times.
You only need to come in for class if you have students signed up for that session.
Additional hours are available and vary based on availability to do weekend sessions, weekly testing, and summer boot camps.
