The Purchasing Manager's pivotal role revolves around optimizing spend, ensuring quality control, and surpassing performance targets across procurement phases.
Your primary objective is to forge beneficial vendor contracts while minimizing risks.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all procurement facets:
sourcing, purchasing, logistics, and administration Identify and establish relationships with potential suppliers/vendors aligned with project needs Drive strategic supplier initiatives:
selection, contractual terms, and consolidation Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for supply assurance and cost control Educate, enforce procurement policies, and introduce innovative business practices Evaluate vendor performance, set service standards, and ensure profitability Lead critical projects for cost reduction, supplier relationships, and quality management Ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards, and corporate policies
Qualifications:
1 - 3 years' experience in HVAC Plumbing, or diverse wholesale products Proficiency in international / local customs regulations, sourcing strategies, and commodity markets Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, product sourcing, and procurement Ability to build strong supplier relationships, bilingualism is highly preferred Proactive, hands-on mentality with a can-do attitude; adept at individual and team collaboration Proficient in Microsoft Office; capable of establishing supply ordering guidelines Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and scheduling skills Innovative mindset, adept at multitasking and time management Understanding of business and management principles Job Type:
