Field crew will work on the following types of jobs including but not limited to:
Title Surveys, Commercial Surveys, Design Surveys, easement documents, right-of-way, Subdivision Platting, and Acreage Surveys.
Party Crew Chief & I-man position requires prior experience.
Rod Man position does not require past or prior experience.
These positions are full time, Monday through Friday, with opportunity after 60 days to receive benefits package including:
employee health/vision/dental insurance and major holidays paid to full time employees.
General Requirements:
Independent worker able to perform duties without direct supervision, mature, honest worker, responsible and trustworthy.
Physically fit, able to handle equipment and to work efficiently in the field, able to lift 40
pounds and walk across rough terrain daily, hop fences, walls, etc.
if needed and as instructed by the Party Chief.
Current valid driver's license.
Able to be insured to drive company vehicles.
Drug free and able to pass drug test upon hiring.
This position is full time with opportunity for ongoing overtime.
Job Details have or develop a basic knowledge and understanding of construction plans and maps (i.
e.
, site plans, boundary plans, highway plans, profile and cross sections, horizontal and vertical curves, pipeline plans, foundation plans, map contours and construction staking) Assists and coordinates field work for a variety of standard types of surveys Work in the use and application of a Total Station, Robotic Total Station, Data Collectors and RTK GPS Instruments Accurately calculates and records field data Assist Party Chief to keep neat, orderly field notes for surveying operations (i.
e.
, leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, layout, as-built surveys, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys) and reduce/check for completeness and accuracy Execute procedures for checking and calibration of equipment being used Enforce Company safety procedures and policies for survey field operations Cleans and organizes work vehicle Other duties as assigned Job Type:
