The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Sales Generation:
Actively prospect and generate new leads through various channels such as cold calling, referrals, networking, and online research.
Identify potential customers and businesses in need of insurance coverage.
Consultation and Needs Analysis:
Meet with prospective clients to assess their insurance needs and understand their specific requirements.
Conduct a comprehensive analysis of their current coverage, risks, and liabilities to determine suitable insurance solutions.
Product Knowledge:
Develop a deep understanding of various insurance products and policies offered by the company, including auto insurance, property insurance, and more.
Stay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and legal regulations.
Presentations and Proposals:
Prepare and deliver effective presentations, proposals, and quotes to potential clients.
Explain policy terms, coverage options, and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
Customize insurance solutions to meet individual client needs.
Relationship Building:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, claims, and policy changes promptly.
Regularly follow up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate terms, premiums, and coverage details with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Overcome objections and handle rejection professionally.
Close sales deals and complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and policy details.
Complete paperwork, applications, and endorsements accurately and submit them in a timely manner.
Targets and Reporting:
Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the company.
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management.
Analyze sales data, identify trends, and propose strategies for improvement.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on insurance industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' offerings.
Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance knowledge and skills.
Obtain relevant certifications and licenses as required.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams such as underwriters, claims representatives, and customer service to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
Share knowledge, best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
